DR. LISA KINGSLEY
Educator. Parent. Proven Advocate for Medford Students and Families.
I’ve spent over 20 years working to improve public education, including 10 years in district leadership. I’ve been a special education teacher, program designer, and principal here in Medford, and I currently serve on the Medford Family Network board, where I’ve also been Chair. I hold a doctorate in Education Leadership from Harvard and have trained school and district leaders across the country—and everything I’ve learned has only deepened my commitment to the community I call home.

I’m running for School Committee to bring my skills, passion, and experience back home to Medford.
“Lisa is one of the most inspiring leaders in education I have had the privilege to work with. She is always positive, ready to problem-solve, actively listens, and is supportive. She has a diversified skillset in her leadership.”
“Lisa is not afraid to advocate for what is ‘right’ in each situation. She is able to address difficult situations with grace and can communicate the plan and purpose in a way that other respond positively. Lisa is able to effectively problem solve difficult situations.”
“Lisa is very good at hearing all parts, all sides, helping make decisions that are fair and balanced. Her decisions are ultimately what’s best for students, [and] her greatest quality is to see the potential in organizations and people. ”
